Introduction :-
The department of Samhita and Siddhant deals with the classical text (Samhita) of Ayurveda for scientific exploration and validation. The department is popularly known as the department of basic principles concerned with the basic principles of Ayurveda. The teaching includes the study of Brihat trayi which holds a prime place in the 1st to the final-year academic syllabus. The research gap of already work done and the work which has to be done is filled by the ongoing syllabus, research work and activities carried out as well.
